Built in 1925 as a replacement for Albion’s original
gymnasium, Kresge Gymnasium is Michigan's oldest active
intercollegiate athletic facility and has played host to
everyone from Vice-Presidents to professional wrestlers.
Funds for construction were given by S. S. Kresge in honor
of his son, Stanley Kresge, Class of 1923.
