Note on card- Dear Cousins, Mother came home yesterday and stood the trip pretty well. She got very tired & a little nervous and had a chill after she got home, but this morning she is quite comfortable. I am driving back & forth between Albion & home this week. We have a practical nurse to take care of her. She had some of the jam for breakfast this a.m. & enjoyed it lots. The plants came hoem OK too. Love, Gertrude.

Printed description: Opened for use during the summer of 1938. The funds for the building were given by the late Mrs. Madelon Stockwell Turner in memory of her father, Charles F. Peabody Stockwell. The department of Art is located on the second floor and occupies a spacious studio and a beautiful exhibition room.
