Zeta Chapter of Delta Gamma was installed in 1883 at Albion College. When Dr. Fiske, who was president of the College, discovered that the group had become part of a national sorority, he offered the women rooms on the third floor of Fiske Hall. Later they moved to the third floor of the old Central Building, now Robinson Hall. The DG’s hold the distinction of being the only sorority at Albion to ever provide full dorm accommodations for its members. The first lodge shown below was on E. Cass Street and opened in 1895/6. That lodge was the first building constructed and owned by a Delta Gamma chapter in the United States. The present Delta Gamma lodge was built on the site of the original lodge after it was moved in 1966.

Note on card- Dearest Pat, This is just a note until I get time to write a full letter. This is the D.G. lodge where we hold our meetings. Mom used to go here when she was in Albion. Isn't it thrilling? I have loads to tell you. I was home last weekend. Will explain all in a letter this weekend, if I can. Keep writing. Love, Ann
