Two of
the nation's longest-running college football rivalries
continue and both include Albion. The Britons' series with
Olivet is the oldest college football rivalry west of the
Allegheny mountains. It began in 1884.
The second longest Division III rivalry (in number of games
played) is Albion's series with Kalamazoo which dates back
to 1896 with 121 games played.
In 1904 the MIAA awarded it's first league championship to
Albion. That team was the only squad in Albion's history to
"whitewash" all opponents, scoring 234 points to the
rivals' nothing.

Note
on card- Dear
Rowena, I suppose you are home by this time and getting
ready to begin school. We had a dandy trip and arrive here
Mon. night about 6:30. Sat. is/was cold & disagreeable
but Sun. and Mon. it was fine. I drove the "old Ford" quite
a little so you see it was fortunate that we arrived here
safely. Are going over to a cousins for dinner. Please
write to me when you get home. Will try to answer.
