After fires in
1921 and 1922, the roof was replaced on Albion's first
gymnasium, and it was turned into a dining hall for
freshmen. After the opening of Wesley Hall in 1926 the need
for a cafeteria ended and the Art Department moved into the
building. The last department to call this building home
was Home Economics. Demolition took place in
1986.
