
The cornerstone for the
Central Building was laid in June of 1841. That building
was renovated/extended in the early 1900's through the
generosity George O. Robinson of Detroit, Michigan and now
retains his name. Robinson Hall burned in December of 1923
and was reconstructed in the shell of the former
building.
