History

The Philomathian Literary Society was organized toward the close of the first semester of the 1910-11 academic year. (1914 Albionian)

The Philomathean Literary Society's objective was to provide literary advantages for the preparatory students. Reorganized in 1910-11 as Philomathian (spelled differently) Literary Society to help each member for the work in which he is particularly interested.
