History

The Philomathian Literary Society was organized toward the close of the first semester of the 1910-11 academic year. (1914 Albionian)

The Erosophean (Erosophian) Society was formed on October 16, 1867 by uniting the "Clever Boys" and "Clever Girls" societies. Their motto: "Union and Unity"
